Program Description
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 countries. Awarded to postgraduate researchers in medical biology, genetics, pharmacology, and engineering.
Eligibility & Requirements
• Master\'s degree or equivalent achieved before September 2026.
• Born after 31 December 1990.
• Mandatory written support letter from an academic host professor at a Swiss university.

How to Apply
Obtain host professor confirmation letter in Switzerland first. Submit application to Swiss Embassy in home country.
Benefits & Funding
• Monthly stipend of 1,920 CHF (PhD) or 3,500 CHF (Postdoc).
• Mandatory Swiss health insurance coverage for non-EU scholars.
• One-way return flight allowance.
• Housing allowance grant of 300 CHF (one-off).
